BOOK CLHUB – April 2025

Discuss an intriguing book in a relaxed atmosphere at the next meeting of the HUB COMICS BOOK CLHUB! We’ll talk both form and content regarding our pick-of-the-month, Waka Hirako’s My Broken Mariko, which is 10% off now ‘til BOOK CLHUB! Readers of all experience levels are welcome, but leave the kids at home since this book is “OT” for Older Teens and up. You don’t even have to buy a copy from Hub Comics! Admission is free, but bringing a copy is required.

That’s Wednesday, April 9th at 7pm!

About the book: The first manga selected for our now one-year old BOOK CLHUB, My Broken Mariko was originally serialized on Kadokawa’s josei website Comic Bridge from July to December 2019. It is published in the traditional back-to-front and right-to-left Japanese reading format. Waka Hirako has also written and drawn Tenrai-sama to Ningen no Heso: Hirako Waka Shoki Sakuhinshuu and YISKA, which have yet to be published as English-language print editions.
