HAPPY NEW YEAR, READERS!

[Also posted to our homepage] While we are all vaccinated and boostered, we’re concerned about the high COVID infection rate in Massachusetts and how fast it increased from last week to this week. And while we did just encourage all you fine shoppers in our last YouTube/Instagram weekly video to come in and buy books for various January holidays (like National Cheese Lover’s Day, January 20^th!!!!!), for a week or two starting Monday, January 3rd we’re going to switch from in-person browsing to phone orders and curbside pick-up only. We’re happy to answer questions by email and phone, and we still love making recommendations. And yes, we do sell gift cards if you are purchasing a late present.

Data suggests that 2022 will not be a repeat of 2020 — we certainly won’t shut down for a complete renovation, that’s for sure! — but the start of ’22 may look like the toughest parts of ‘20. Please help us in laying low for a bit to offer a break to our crowded hospitals and our very tired healthcare workers.

We look forward to handing you a bag of comics and/or graphic novels at the front door!
