LadiesCon is a FREE one-day celebration of women of all kinds and their work in comic books, science fiction, fantasy, cosplay, and many other realms of pop culture. LadiesCon was created as a welcoming event for everyone that would showcase creators in a variety of fields with a particular focus on creators who identify as women, non-binary, LGBTQ, and people of color, plus local artists. And Hub Comics will have a big table filled with wonderful books for browsing and purchasing!

Plus, Hub Comics owner Tim Finn will be a panelist for a talk about design in animation, while Hub Comics employee Juliet Kahn sits on two panels — one on queer manga and the other on Wonder Woman!

LadiesCon 2019 is at the Somerville Armory on September 21 from 11am to 5pm!

Of course, Hub Comics-the-shop will be open with normal business hours that day, so you can see us in two places!
