Are you ready to fight evil by moonlight and win love by daylight? HUB COMICS is! Join us in celebrating Naoko Takeuchi’s landmark series BISHOUJO SENSHI SAILOR MOON (a.k.a. PRETTY SOLDIER SAILOR MOON) by submitting to IN THE NAME OF THE MOON, our SAILOR MOON art show! We want local artists’ interpretations of the beloved magical girl epic — 2-D and 3-D art is eligible, as are all the mash-ups, variations, and reinterpretations you can think of. The more creative, the better!

The opening reception will take place on the evening of SATURDAY, AUGUST 30th, 2014 and the show will run through September. If interested in submitting art, please send us an email at hubcomics [at] gmail [dot] com with IN THE NAME OF THE MOON in the subject line. Please send a jpeg photograph or a jpeg scan of your submission along with your name, the title, size, and medium of the piece, as well as pricing information if applicable. Jpeg submissions will be required no later than Saturday, August 16th (you will be notified if your piece has been accepted by Wednesday, August 20th. Because of space limitations, we may not be able to accept all submissions). All accepted pieces must be ready for hanging/installation and dropped off by Monday, August 25th.
